Worked example
Input [{"name":"A","score":90},{"name":"B","city":"Beijing"}] produces name, score and city columns, with missing values left blank.
Understanding settings and results
- Accepts only a top-level array of objects. Non-object rows are rejected explicitly, not silently dropped.
- Commas, quotation marks and line breaks are quoted and escaped according to CSV rules.
Scope and limitations
- Nested objects and arrays are written as JSON text rather than expanded into columns. Both null and missing fields are blank.
- CSV does not preserve number formatting, formulas, styles or multiple worksheets.
Troubleshooting
- If headers are incomplete, check that every array element is an object.
- If Excel shows scientific notation, set the relevant column to text during import.
