Worked example
For a Wi-Fi QR code, enter the network name, encryption type and password. Test it with another phone before downloading the PNG for display.
Understanding settings and results
- Longer content creates denser modules and requires a larger printed code.
- Logos use a fixed proportion. Logos, circular styling and content length can affect recognition; test with real devices.
Scope and limitations
- A QR code is only an encoding container; it does not verify a URL is safe or will remain available.
- Circular styling and large logos can reduce recognition on older devices.
Troubleshooting
- If scanning fails, remove the logo, use square styling and increase dimensions.
- Keep the surrounding quiet zone when printing and do not crop the corner markers.
