How are passwords generated?

The tool uses crypto.getRandomValues in your browser and does not upload passwords as tool requests. Choose adequate length, avoid reuse and protect your device and clipboard.

Why do some sites reject special characters?

Password rules vary. Disable symbols for letters and digits only, or choose character sets that match the target platform before generating.

What does excluding ambiguous characters mean?

It removes similar-looking characters such as 0/O and 1/l/I to reduce mistakes when manually copying or typing a password.

What password length should I use?

Longer random passwords are harder to guess. Consider 16 or more characters for sensitive accounts and follow the platform rules. Length matters more than adding character types alone.
