Is there a line limit?
Ordinary text and code work well. Very large inputs can make browser computation slow, so split them into relevant sections when needed.
Can I compare two files?
Yes. Paste the contents of each file into the two input fields. Both inputs are treated as plain text regardless of where they came from.
What do red and green mean?
Red marks a line present in the old version but removed from the new one. Green marks an added line. An edited line appears as a deletion plus an addition.
Is my text saved?
The comparison tool does not save or upload inputs. Processing happens locally. Follow your organization data requirements before using internal material, and manage browser-restored content yourself.
